I LOVE THE TEMPLE! This week was pretty awesome. The reason this update is so late is because we had the great privilege of going to the Dallas temple. We have to take that time out of our p-day and the temple isn't open on mondays so we have to take a different day for that so that we can go.

Funny/awesome story. Sister Lewis and I stopped at QT (gas station) for a bathroom break and to get some drinks. As we're getting our drinks this guy asks us how we're doing and then introduces himself as "Brother Eddie". So we're like "Oh are you a member?" and he's like "No, but I'm a Christian" and so we proceeded to talk to him about his beliefs and then he asked us a bunch of questions about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was very interested and took a Book of Mormon and our card and let us set up a return appointment with him. All of this right in the middle of QT. Then he bought our drinks for us in exchange for getting his address so that we could come and teach him more. He seems like a pretty awesome guy. We haven't been able to meet with him yet, but we're going to try to stop by soon. The best part was that after he bought our drinks we walked out and had a prayer circle. Only in Texas. :)
We had a somewhat sad experience with Chandler this week. He dropped us like a hot potato. He got into some anti-mormon stuff and wouldn't listen to anything we had to say when we tried to address his concerns. So yeah that was sad. But everything else this week was pretty awesome!
Bobby and Mary are still going strong for their baptism date on the 27th. They just need to come to church a couple more times and then nothing will stop them. We've had some really great lessons with them this week and are planning on seeing them later today. They're both still really excited.

Lucy is doing awesome as well! She came to church the last two weeks in a row and is excited to come this week as well. She is on fire! She also wants to come to the mission president's fireside which is going to be this Sunday. She's on schedule to be baptized on the 27th as well. That's going to be a pretty busy day!

The work here is amazing! We're working with a lot of awesome people and finding lots of awesome new ones. I just want to end this with my testimony that I know that we have the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today, and that Joseph Smith was called as the prophet to restore that gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world and that through him all of our sins can be forgiven, no matter how serious they are, as long as we have faith in him and turn away from those sins. I know that God loves us and that he is deeply involved with this work. I've been able to see his hand in this work and it always amazes me. I'm so grateful that I made this decision. It's hard but it's worth it. I love you!
