Baby turtles and a drunk guy....

 Baby turtle!

 Halloween Costume??
Are potatoes supposed to do this?

This week was really good! I'm still loving Azle and Sister Meiners so much. This is really a great place!

Tuesday was a really awesome day! We had an auto training meeting in Colleyville, and it was really cool to be back in my first stake. We got these things put into our cars called "TIWI". The monitor the cars speed, seat belt usage, and if there's any aggressive driving going on, then it yells at us when we do any of those things. Well not really yells, but "mentors". Either way, it's scary when it happens haha. I'm glad I'm not driving. While those were being installed though we had a meeting with President Ames where we talked all about finding new people to teach and the new Because He Lives initiative. The spirit was so strong. President Ames is just so amazing and loves us all so much. It definitely motivated us to do better at talking to everyone we see and just having the faith to find the people God has ready for us. So after the meeting we were super pumped to go talk to everyone in our area and we had a lot of really cool/funny experiences.

Funniest thing of my life happened. We were tracting at and apartment complex and the person who's door we were at just finished telling us that they weren't interested, when these two guys pull up in a mustang. We start talking to them as they are getting out of their car and realize that one of them is just holding a turtle in his hands. Like a real live turtle all curled up in its shell. Apparently they had almost run over the turtle and then stopped and saved it. So we start talking to them about Christ and the guy holding the turtle is the only one who really stops to talk to us. His friend goes in and then this lady comes out and asks us who we are, so we start trying to talk to her, but then she goes back inside. Then the guy who is holding the turtle asks us if we can bless his turtle! We weren't really sure how to answer so I was like "We can pray for it I guess." Then he asks us if we would. So Sister Meiner's totally prayed for this guy's turtle. It was so stinking funny. Then as we keep talking to this guy we realize that he's totally drunk and then he starts hitting on us, so we got out of there, but it was like super hilarious.

After that we were able to meet this really awesome guy named Chad. He's way cool and I just got a really good feeling about him. He's really busy though and we're going to do our best to see him this week. I really hope that we can. Tuesday was just a really good day and we were able to meet and talk to a bunch of new cool people. It was just really good to feel like we were where God wanted us to be.

We were able to do quite a bit of service this week at this place called the Community Caring Center. It's a really neat place that we go to twice a week and help bag groceries for people. It's like a Christian food bank and it's lots of fun.

We had a really fun Relief Society birthday dinner on Thursday and Jill came! She seemed to really love it, it was based off of Elder Uchtdorf's talk about our "Once Upon a Time". It was lots of fun and very spiritual. I'm just so excited for General Conference! I love having new talks from the Prophet and apostles to read and learn from.

Oh Bob and Jill also came to sacrament meeting this week again and are becoming really friendly with a lot of the people in the ward! We're going to be eating dinner with them at our ward mission leaders house this Thursday. It should be good!

This week has been really good! It definitely had it's ups and downs, but I know that the things that I'm experiencing and feeling will always be for my good. The gospel is true!

Love,

Sister Morrill

Got to hold a baby turtle!

Found some hideous clothing in our closet. I'm totally keeping the jacket thing.

Our potato was growing!
