My New Companion is a fish!

Brrr!  35 degrees on transfer day!

Hello! So transfers are upon us again and I am going down to Copperas Cove which is in the Killeen Stake by the military base. I'm so excited! My companion's name is Sister Tuna. I'm super sad to be leaving Arlington but I know that the Lord is sending me where He needs me. It's going to be really cool, we're over the 2nd ward and also the YSA Branch. I'm really excited. I don't have the new address quite yet, but I'll update you next week.

This week has been pretty good! Scout and her brother got baptized! It was so very tender. The whole family was there and they were just so happy! Sad news is that Scout's brother is moving down to Austin to live with the Aunt and Uncle who have practically raised him. So we won't get to see him as often. They said they'll still come visit though. I'm just so happy that Scout and her brother made this choice. It's going to set the foundation for the rest of their lives and hopefully as their families continue to grow and progress in the gospel they'll be able to get the stability that they need.

Lucy has sort of been avoiding us. It's sad but the ball is in her court right now and we've really done as much as we can to help her. She told us that she might be moving to San Antonio in 3 weeks, but we're not totally sure what's going on.

We did a lot of less active member work this week. We're just trying to help build up the ward as much as possible. Sorry that it's a bit of a short update this week. I've forgotten my planner and can't really remember all the things we did throughout the week. Oh we had a lesson with an atheist at our relief society president's house. It was very interesting. He wasn't very open to what we're saying so that always makes things a bit difficult. We're not sure if we're going to teach him again, but he had some friends who sat in on the lesson who might be interested! We're excited about that.

I've really loved serving here in Arlington. There are some amazing people here who I have been so blessed to know and work with. I know that the Lord is mindful of me knows where to send me so that I can best serve Him and His children. I've been so blessed to be a part of this work! I'm excited to meet new people and see where this next transfer takes me! I know this gospel is true and that Jesus Christ truly is our Savior. I am so grateful for His life and for His example. I'm also so grateful for His atonement and grace, because it is through those things that we are able to become better and return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I'm so grateful for this gospel and for my family and friends. I love y'all so much!
