Six Months!

Holy Cow, time flies!  She has been out 6 months today, July 8th!  Crazy!  Here is her Monday post:

No, it's just in a pony tail. ;)  Me and Sister Inoke

This week had it's ups and downs. I'm getting a new companion on Wednesday, her name is Sister Lewis. I feel like this transfer went by so fast! I'm sad to see Sister Inoke going though. I've learned a lot from her, but I'm sure we're both going to be moving on to bigger and better things.

We saw Lucy on Monday and had a good lesson with her. We're going to see her again tonight and kind of see what's going on because she keeps saying that she's going to come to church and then doesn't. We're trying to get more exchanges as well so that she can start getting really fellow shipped with the ward so hopefully that will help her be a little more motivated to come to church. Should be good.

We also did some yard work for Bobby and Mary this week. We're really trying to focus on church attendance as well this coming week. We're having a hard time actually committing them to do it. Bobby is starting to gain an awesome testimony though, she is just so awesome.

I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had to meet all these wonderful people. I've been having a hard couple of weeks but I've been studying a lot about grace and the atonement and how it has the power to enable us. Some great articles that have helped me are https://www.lds.org/ensign/2012/04/the-atonement-and-the-journey-of-mortality and https://www.lds.org/ensign/2013/09/his-grace-is-sufficient?lang=eng as well as https://www.lds.org/ensign/2013/03/the-enabling-power-of-the-atonement?lang=eng
Those are some really awesome articles and I'd encourage y'all to check them out. Sorry for the short, not very detailed email this week. I forgot my planner that has all the info for last week in it, and mission brain is killing my memory. Just know that I know this church is true and that Heavenly Father loves us all and that the atonement is for everyone, not just those who "deserve" it. I love this gospel. I know that it is the only way to have true joy. Thank you all for your continued support and love. Y'all are awesome!
