This week went by fast but slow at the same time. How is that possible? We still haven't heard from Lucy, but we're planning to stop by soon and see how she is doing. We've met a lot of new people this week, unfortunately none of them are too interested in the gospel at this time, but that's okay because we're just planting seeds. I know that the Lord is preparing people in this area to receive His gospel. We just need to have the faith and the patience to find them. I think this week has taught me a lot about patience, both with myself and with others. Sister Lewis has been an amazing help to me. I don't know what I'd do without her.
We were able to meet with a lot of awesome members this week. We met with one family last night who's daughter is having a hard time in another state. They told us that the Sister Missionaries there have been a huge help to her and that they appreciate all that they do and also all that we do. It was amazing to recognize that we were able to help ease a little bit of their tension and worry about the situation here, and I'm grateful for those sisters who are helping their daughter. It really is amazing to be an instrument in the Lord's hands and to be able to recognize it, because I'm sure there have been many times that I have not recognized. I'd like to encourage all of you to strive to be an instrument in His hands to help His children, your brothers and sisters. It might be just as simple as sharing a smile or doing something kind for someone. I know that not only will the people's lives that you serve be blessed, but that yours will be also. Have a blessed week! Thanks for everything! Love ya!
