My zone is crazy.
Cross-eyed kitty!
Gunson would be training new missionary. Which meant that I was almost
100% sure leaving. I had very mixed feelings, mostly sad ones haha. I
love Euless and all the people here. Sister Gunson is going to be a
wonderful trainer though! She's got a pretty lucky newbie. Then for
the rest of the week all of the appointments that we had scheduled
punched. For really good reasons though. It was just hard because we
were certain we were going to have this awesome week because all of
our evenings were filled like a week in advance, which is like the
first time that has ever happened. Then for whatever reason everyone
had to cancel. The adversary is working hard, but we're not going to
let him win. This week did have some awesome highlights though. We
went on an exchange with a girl in the Tongan ward who is going on a
mission in June! She was a lot of fun to be around and she's so
excited. We also got to do a youth fireside on Sunday where we talked
about preparing for missions and then for like the last half hour we
opened it up to a panel so that the youth could ask us questions about
missions and stuff like that. It went really well. The youth in this
ward are awesome! Another highlight is that we found a really cute
cross-eyed kitty while hunting down some potential investigators. He
was super friendly!
Then yesterday I was able to find out where I was getting transferred
to...drum roll please...
Arlington! Home of King of the Hill! My companion will be Sister
Inoke, who came out with Sister Gunson, I hear that she is awesome.
I'm really excited, but a little sad to be leaving Euless. i know
though that the Lord knows what he is doing and that I'm going to
Arlington for a good reason! I'm so grateful for a Father in Heaven
who looks out for me and who knows me. This week was hard but I have
learned and grown from it, and it has brought me closer to my Savior
and to Heavenly Father. This gospel is so good! Never forget that!
Love y'all!
Sister Morrill
