New Companion
This week has been a little chaotic but awesome as well. Transfers
happened. My new companion Sister Gunson is so hilarious. I love her
already and I can tell that I have a ton to learn from her. So when
transfers initially happened neither of us had driving privileges at
the time. So we were unable to drive for a day and a half. It was kind
of funny and definitely made me grateful for our car. We finally got
that all figured out and are now driving around in missionary style
again. We're really trying hard to work with our members right now. We
met with the Elders that serve in our ward as well and figured out the
members that we all wanted to work with so that we don't overlap.
We've been making tons of phone calls trying to set up appointments.
Sarah is doing okay. She's having some struggles, but we've seen a lot
of answers to her and our prayers this week. So hopefully things will
start to look up for her. She is still so awesome and determined to be
a part of this church and I really admire her for that. We're working
on finding more people to teach and are going to go and see some
potentials later today and for the rest of the week. It should be
awesome.
I love being on a mission, even though it is definitely the hardest
thing I've done in my life, and that I still have a ways to go. I
have been so blessed though. I've seen so many miracle and blessings.
Like just yesterday a less active member who hasn't come to church
in the three months that I've been here finally came! It was so
awesome to see her! I don't think I've ever been that excited about
someone coming to church! I really have noticed how I've changed and
grown so much in just the few months that I've been out here. My
testimony has been strengthened so much! I know that this church is
true. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us perfectly.
I know that through the atonement we can all be forgiven of our
mistakes, no matter how large. My favorite story about Christ is in
John 8:3-11. He is so forgiving and I am always amazed to realize just
how willing to forgive he is. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't
know this, but I do and I am so much happier for it. You guys are
great. Thanks for all your support! I love you.
