Squirrel!

So I got sick this week. I had like a major head cold! It sucked. So we didn't do a lot on Wedneday and Thursday cause I felt like crap. We did a lot of work with member and less active members this week. We went and taught the H family about the Restoration because they've been inactive for so long that they don't really remember a lot of things about the church. So we're teaching them the missionary discussions. They're really great. They like to get off topic though haha. We also went and helped M paint some more. I can't remember if I've told you about her. She is a less active in the ward who is redecorating her house so we've been helping her paint and things like that. She's really awesome. I love her. We met with S some more and taught her about following the prophet and such. It was really good. We had D come with us to see her and they got a long pretty well. They've both had some hard things happen in their lives and are in similar situations so it was cool to have S see how D was able to come out on top of everything. Bad news is that we saw S smoking when we thought she didn't do that at all. We're going to try and teach her the Word of Wisdom next and hopefully she'll come out and tell us that she does. She's never motioned anything about it before and she knows that smoking is an issue in the church. We're hoping that it's a once in a while thing so that it'll be a little easier for her to quit. She still has really strong desires to get baptized and come to church. We just have to work with her and be patient and loving. She's great.

On Sunday we taught the young women and young men combined and did roleplays with them. It was lots of fun. They'd been learning about the atonement all month so we had them teach each other about it like they were missionaries and stuff. It was pretty cool. They really know their stuff, even though a lot of them didn't think they did. Other than that this week was pretty good, not a ton of things that stick out. Oh Sister Bangs and I had a mini picnic in a field by our apartment where there a bunch of Blue Bonnets growing. They're the Texas state flower I think. It's illegal to pick them haha. Hopefully I won't get sick again so that we can have an even better week this week. The church is true! Love ya!

P.S. Snapped a nice picture or two of a squirrel outside our laundry facility.
