Also funny story: I was incredibly sassy in Sunday school yesterday. I probably shouldn't have been though haha. We were teaching the lesson and I was writing on the chalk board. I was standing on my tip toes to write something and heard some people snickering, then as I turned around the old ward mission leader asked if I'd like a step stool (he's the kind of guy who loves to tease everyone and is just in general very hilarious). So I asked if he was volunteering. It was funny, but probably not becoming of a disciple of the Lord haha.

This week was really good! We've had a lot of good variety. We've been working a lot on finding and found 4 new promising investigators! We're really excited about it. We've also had some good lessons with the people we're already working with. We were also so blessed to have 4 of our investigators come to church!
We've been having some really awesome lessons with Lucy this week. She's doing really well, however she is still working on some word of wisdom issues. The father of her kids is still living with her, but they are working on finding him a new place to live because she knows that he can't be living there if she wants to get baptized. She also came to church and even bore her testimony! It was really sweet and it's been amazing to see how far she has progressed!
Bobby and Mary were also able to do some of their family history and print a couple of names for the temple! We've got them scheduled to go this Saturday, but Bobby was sick on Sunday so they weren't able to get interviewed. We're really hoping that everything will work out and that they'll be able to go. Bobby had a really wonderful experience doing family history because she was able to print out her mom's name. There was a wonderful couple form the ward who was helping them with printing out names and the wife started talking to Bobby about how wonderful the temple was and testified of the great work she was doing for her mother. They both teared up and the spirit was so sweet. I just love them.
We're still working with Scout and her family to get her baptized. It's just a matter of finishing the lesson and Scout's uncle getting her so that he can baptize her. We had a really tender experience with the primary yesterday. We went to take the missionary meal calendars to the primary. We weren't sure if we should interrupt and risk distracting the children. However we heard them singing "Called to Serve". So we poked our head in and the primary president sees us and motions for us to come in. She wanted us to help the kids sing the "Texas Fort Worth" edition of "Called to Serve". That's where instead of saying "Forward, pressing forward" we sing "Forward, Texas Fort Worth" with all the gusto that we can manage. The primary kids were so happy to have us there, and Scout just beamed at us the whole time. I don't think I'll forget that experience, the spirit was so strong. I just love being a missionary!
Other good news is that I finished reading the Book of Mormon! I don't know if I told y'all or not, but in August President Ames challenged us to read the Book of Mormon by October 16th. So we had roughly two months to do it. He also encouraged us to pick a specific topic to study about, and only underline things that pertained to the topic in the book. I studied about the word of God, and more specifically speaking it. Over these last two months I have found that is has become a lot easier to speak up and participate in lessons, which is something I have struggled with a lot! In general I have felt my faith in Christ grow so much! I know that he is the Savior of the world. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it truly is another testimony of Him. I know that this is His true church restored on the Earth again and I am so grateful for it. I love you all!
