Arlington Zone Conference

Another zone conference  Cute Sisters! So nice of that Elder to help the one behind him with his nose. I wonder if Superman is near by?   This week we met with our new investigator "Kent" who is an awesome referral from a member in another ward in the stake. Kent is awesome, she is so open and willing to learn about the gospel. She's got kind of a rough background for someone who is so young, but we can just tell that she is thirsty for the gospel. We were also able to meet with Lucy and she seems to be doing better. She's still having a bit of a hard time, but it looks like things are slowly starting to come together for her. We're going to see her again on Thursday so hopefully we'll be able to get an even better understanding of where she's at and how we can help her. On Thursday and Friday we went on exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders. I stayed in our area with Sister Call and Sister Lewis went to the fifth...

Potential Investigator?  Just seein who's on the other side of the wall....   How did this happen?  I mean, of all the people to find this truck, it would have to be Lindsey..LOL.        This week went by fast but slow at the same time. How is that possible? We still haven't heard from Lucy, but we're planning to stop by soon and see how she is doing. We've met a lot of new people this week, unfortunately none of them are too interested in the gospel at this time, but that's okay because we're just planting seeds. I know that the Lord is preparing people in this area to receive His gospel. We just need to have the faith and the patience to find them. I think this week has taught me a lot about patience, both with myself and with others. Sister Lewis has been an amazing help to me. I don't know what I'd do without her. We were able to meet with a lot of awesome members this week. We met with one family last night ...

Yep, this is her new companion, Sister Lewis P-Day last Monday   This week was kind of stressful, but really really good! My new companion, Sister Lewis, is so awesome! I am learning a lot from her. It's been hard having to be the one who knows the area though, we've only gotten lost a few times ;D. Sister Lewis has been a great help though. We met with Lucy this week and set a baptismal date for the 16th of August ! It was so great, when we suggested the date to her and she said yes I felt the spirit so strongly. I know that this day is going to be a good one for her. Unfortunately she wasn't able to come to church because she had some sort of family emergency. We haven't been able to talk much with her since she told us, so we're going to try to see her as soon as possible to get an update and to see if we can help. We've also been able to meet a lot of new people and gained 3 new investigators this week! We're going to see th...

Six Months!

Holy Cow, time flies!  She has been out 6 months today, July 8th!  Crazy!  Here is her Monday post:   No, it's just in a pony tail. ;)  Me and Sister Inoke   This week had it's ups and downs. I'm getting a new companion on Wednesday , her name is Sister Lewis. I feel like this transfer went by so fast! I'm sad to see Sister Inoke going though. I've learned a lot from her, but I'm sure we're both going to be moving on to bigger and better things.  We saw Lucy on Monday and had a good lesson with her. We're going to see her again tonight and kind of see what's going on because she keeps saying that she's going to come to church and then doesn't. We're trying to get more exchanges as well so that she can start getting really fellow shipped with the ward so hopefully that will help her be a little more motivated to come to church. Should be good. We also did some yard work for Bobby and Mary this week. We're really t...
